Meet GreenArt

GreenArt designs and builds premium gardens across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. From full transformations to thoughtful upgrades and long-term care, we bring together design, craft and horticultural knowledge to create gardens that feel beautiful, practical and built to last.

Our story

GreenArt began in 2009, founded by George and Jo Smith. What started as a small, hands-on garden design and landscaping business has grown into a team that delivers design, build and ongoing garden care across the Thames Valley.

George’s love of the outdoors, wildlife, and drawing led him into environmental science and landscape design. Over the years, that mix of creativity and practical skill has shaped GreenArt’s approach: thoughtful design, high-quality materials, and gardens that work well in real life.

As demand grew, the business expanded and Jo moved from a career in PR and marketing into GreenArt full time. Today, based in Wallingford, GreenArt brings together designers, landscapers, gardeners and an office team so projects feel well managed from the first conversation through to completion.
