Garden Design in Oxfordshire

If your garden layout is not working anymore, we can design a new plan that makes it easier to move around, easier to look after and a nicer place to spend time. Our hand-drawn designs show you how paths, planting, seating and levels can come together before any work begins.

Garden Design for Your Garden

Many people come to us because their garden layout just is not working anymore. You might have moved house and been left with a bare lawn, or lived there for years and now find the routes, steps or borders awkward and hard to manage.

Garden Design for Real Homes

A few examples of gardens we have redesigned for busy families and retired homeowners who wanted spaces that are easier to use every day.

How Our Design Process Works

We keep things straightforward and well explained, so you always know what is happening next.

1. First visit and brief

We visit you at home to see the garden, listen to what is not working and what you would like instead. We look at slopes, access, views and soil, then agree a simple written brief for the new design.

2. Outline design

From that visit we put together hand-drawn plans that show new shapes, routes and main features, along with ideas for planting and materials. We talk these through with you, make changes together and check that the ideas fit your budget.

3. Detailed design

Once the outline is agreed, we refine the plan and add the details needed to build it on site. You finish this stage with a clear drawing and notes you can use with our own build team or another contractor if you prefer.

Wow what can I say, we took on Green Art to look after our garden last autumn and we are so happy with our decision. The team they have given us..Adam and Toby are absolutely fantastic. They are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, super professional and easy to get on with. We’ve got a great collaboration whereby we discuss priorities, problem solving, planting schemes and ideas and they always go above and beyond to deliver a first class service.

From my very first phone conversation with Jo I knew I had made an excellent choice in GreenArt Garden Design and Landscaping. Shortly after the initial contact with Jo I met with her husband George to discuss what would work for me in terms of design, use, costs and so forth. Within a few days I had a plan which was way beyond expectations and really fabulous providing adventures for grandchildren, something lovely to look at and also relatively easy to maintain
