Garden care and development in Oxfordshire

If you want a garden that looks cared for without having to do all the work yourself, our Care & Development teams can help. We look after real, lived-in gardens across Oxfordshire, keeping lawns, borders and features in good shape so you can simply enjoy being outside.

Ongoing care to keep your garden enjoyable

Many of our clients can no longer keep up with the heavier jobs, or are simply too busy to do everything themselves. Some just want a regular pair of eyes on the garden so it does not slide backwards between seasons.

Our Care & Development service is for people who still care about how their garden looks and feels, but would rather have a trusted team keeping on top of it.

  • Are finding mowing, weeding and pruning harder on your joints and energy
  • Are working full time and want the garden to look “company ready” without weekend graft
  • Like the idea of the same small team visiting regularly, not a different face every week
  • Want borders, lawns and wildlife areas kept healthy, not just cut back
  • Prefer a clear plan for the year so you know the garden is being looked after properly

Care and development services

Different gardens – and different people – need different kinds of help. Some clients want regular visits all year, others just need a hand getting back on top of things or a bit of guidance so they feel more confident.

What we look after in your garden

Care & Development is about the whole garden, not just the lawn. On each visit, our teams keep an eye on how everything is growing and deal with the jobs that will make the biggest difference over time.

How Our Care Process Works

We keep things straightforward and well explained, so you always know what is happening next.

1. Initial Chat

You tell us a bit about your garden, how much you want to be involved and what is starting to feel like too much. This can be over the phone or on a video call, and is just to see if we are the right fit for you and your garden.

2. Garden Visit

We visit in person, walk the garden with you and look at lawns, borders, trees, hedges and any wildlife or water areas. You can point out what really matters to you, and we can flag anything that might need more attention over the coming months.

3. Agreeing your plan

We then suggest a Care & Development plan that sets out how often we visit, what we focus on at different times of year and an outline monthly cost. You can keep it simple or include more detailed seasonal jobs, and we can tweak the plan until it feels comfortable for you and your budget.

4. Regular visits and review

The same small team visits on agreed days and keeps notes so nothing important is missed. We let you know if anything in the garden changes, and can review the plan each season or once a year to make sure the level of care still feels right for you.

Wow what can I say, we took on Green Art to look after our garden last autumn and we are so happy with our decision. The team they have given us..Adam and Toby are absolutely fantastic. They are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, super professional and easy to get on with. We’ve got a great collaboration whereby we discuss priorities, problem solving, planting schemes and ideas and they always go above and beyond to deliver a first class service.

From my very first phone conversation with Jo I knew I had made an excellent choice in GreenArt Garden Design and Landscaping. Shortly after the initial contact with Jo I met with her husband George to discuss what would work for me in terms of design, use, costs and so forth. Within a few days I had a plan which was way beyond expectations and really fabulous providing adventures for grandchildren, something lovely to look at and also relatively easy to maintain
